ECM is Committed to Safety: Joins the National Safety Council
Updated: Aug 19, 2021
We are pleased to announce that ECM Holding Group Inc. became a member of the National Safety Council (NSC) April 21st, underscoring the company’s commitment to the safety of its employees.
ECM shares the NSC mission to eliminate the leading causes of preventable death and injury, focusing on the roadway and emerging issues and the workplace, where fatalities are on the rise nationwide.
Ingrid Schoen, Senior Director of Membership for NSC shared the news, “National Safety Council members share an unwavering commitment to making people’s lives safer on and off the job. We are proud to count ECM Holding Group Inc. among our membership and look forward to working alongside them to save lives, from the workplace to anyplace.”
The focus on safety is not new at ECM. Over the last five years of rapid growth, we have seen an annual decrease in reportable safety incidents. In fact, the Workers Comp Program reduced the ECM “Workers Compensation Experience Rating” 4 times since 2016, lowering our insurance cost per employee by over 60%.
As ECM President Erik Larson put it, “A safe working environment is the foundation of our operation.”
